After graduating from Homestead High in California his early passion for technology and innovation was evident. -
Early College
Wozniak briefly attended University of Colorado Boulder, where he dropped out a year later to pursue, personal projects and careers in electronics. He later Returned to college at UC Berkeley in 1971. -
Blue Box
Wozniak's and Steve Jobs "Blue Box" allowed people to hack into phone networks, into order to make free long distance calls. Thus forming a long term relationship with Jobs. BlueBox -
Hewlett-Packard
Wozniak joined Hewlett-Packard as a technician, where he was able to greatly improve his skills in engineering and innovation. -
Creation of Apple
Wozniak and Jobs co-founded Apple in their garage, marking the beginning of one of the largest tech companies ever. -
First Apple Computer
Worked on creating the first ever apple computer, this computer was sold as a kit, and was the first ever apple product. -
Apple II
Designed the Apple II which was the first highly successful microcomputer that was mass-produced. This computer laid the groundworks for what would become the Macintosh or Mac computers. Apple 2 -
Airplane Accident
He was involved in a traumatic airplane accident that lead in to leave Apple for a short time. This lead him to reflect and pursue options outside of Apple. -
Cloud 9
Wozniak officially left Apple and went on to found CL 9, It was here where he developed the first universal remote control. The use of infrared in this remote inspired many current items such as TV remotes or Wii remotes. -
Releases Remote Control

Autobiography
Published his first autobiography called "iWoz: Computer Geek to Cult Icon," giving readers a firsthand look at the beginnings of Apple and a peek into his life. -
National Inventors Hall of Fame
He was induced into the National Inventors Hall of Fame, therefore cementing his status as a true pioneer in technology and innovation. -
IEEE Computer Pioneer Award
This award celebrated his contributions at Apple and towards personal computing. -
Currently
To this day he is very involved with trying to improve technology education. He dedicates a great deal of time into attempting to inspire new innovators.
