  • Steve Jobs was born.

  • Steve Jobs was put up for adoption.

    Steve Jobs's parents, Joanne Schieble and Abdulfattah Jandali were very poor so when Steve was born, they put him up for adoption.

  • Apple was founded.

    Apple was founded by Steve Jobs and his friend Steve Wozniak. They worked together to make computers and they decided to start a business in 1976. They named it Apple.

  • Newest Apple computer, Apple 2 is created.

    The Apple 2 is created by Steve and Woz (Steve Wozniak) and then became a huge hit in a west computer fair in 1977.

  • Apple was making a lot of money by the time of 1978

  • Wozniak's plane crashed.

    As Wozniak's plane was landing, it crashed and Wozniak was injured. He never returned to work full time at Apple. Wozniak was Steve Jobs partner, they always worked together. Now that Steve had to get used to making products without Wozniak. Apple now had trouble advancing.

  • Steve hired John Scully.

    Steve felt that since Wozniak only works part time, Apple was lacking a smart businessman. He hired John Scully, the head of the Pepsi-Cola company.

  • Macintosh is introduced to the world.

    The newest computer created, the Macintosh was introduced to the world in 1984. Unfortunately no one wanted to buy it.

  • Steve Jobs is no longer head of the Macintosh.

    Steve Jobs lost all the power he had on Apple. Most board members voted John Sculley as head of the Macintosh.

  • Steve Jobs left Apple and created NeXT.

    Since Steve Jobs was no longer head of the Macintosh and that he felt like he had no more power at Apple, he left Apple. Then he created a new company called NeXT. It was a huge disappointment though because Steve Jobs put a lot of money into NeXT because it was a huge fail. No one bought anything.

  • Steve Jobs gets to work with George Lucas.

    In 1986, 6 years later of when the Star Wars movie, the Empire Strikes Back was created, Steve got a chance to meet and work with George Lucas.

  • Steve founded Pixar.

    Since Steve got kicked out of Apple and failed NeXT, he decided to make a movie company called Pixar. Pixar was eventually founded by Steve Jobs, Alvy Ray Smith, and Edwin Catmull.

  • John Sculley was forced out of Apple

    John Sculley was forced out of Apple since Apple was struggling to make money and better computers. Most board members voted John Sculley out and wanted Steve Jobs back in. Steve said he would for a short period of time because he was still working in Pixar.

  • Toy Story was created.

    The Pixar movie, Toy Story was created in 1995 and it was a huge hit.

  • Steve Jobs becomes permanent head of Apple.

    Steve decided to become the permanent head of Apple in 2000 because Steve had so many new ideas.

  • Apple makes the iPod.

  • Steve was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

    Even though Steve had cancer he still continued to work and invent new things.

  • Apple makes the iPhone.

  • Apple makes the iPad.

  • Steve Jobs dies.

    Steve Jobs died of pancreatic cancer.
    -Steve Jobs had changed human technology and inspired many people.
