This is the sad day for the whole of Australia. The moring after she was killed the five prisoners bodies could not be moved from the plaza until authorities gave permission, parishioners then kept burning cadles near her body. Sr Irene McCormack was buried at the Huasahuasi cemetery. On October 10th 2010 when St Mary of tthe cross MacKillop became a saint. Irene McCormack was nominated to also be a saint.
