Volunteer Board Members ANCHORAGE COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES
Due to the school year being very busy. I think I could dedicate time in the summer to volunteer at the Anchorage Community Mental Health Services as a volunteer board members. This would give me experience working in a professional setting and would give me time to learn practical and relevant skills for a future position. Also, I could receive a letter of recommendation. -
Apply to the University of Honors College
As stated on the "The University Honors College at the University of Alaska Anchorage" page, this program would allow me to advance, coordinate, and administer active learning and undergraduate research opportunities. Also, I would be able to develop their leadership and academic skills. -
Psi Chi (International Honor Society in Psychology)
I could also join the Psi Chi (International Honor Society in Psychology) after completing 9 credits in the Psychology field. -
Resident Assistant for Summer Program 2020
This would be a paid, summer internship. This would be great experience for me when it comes to working with adolescents. My preferred age to work with is the 5-12 years but experience with adolescents is good too! -
UAA Undergraduate Research in the Community Award Fall 2020
I could towards a Community Research Project that will address a specific need in the Anchorage community. This would help develop my professional skills and this would be great to have one a resume to show that I did more than just attend school. -
