Tita's Marriage
Tita asked Mama Elena if Pedro could come over so he could ask for her hand in marriage. Mama Elena denied it and offered Tita's sister named Rosaura instead.

Nacaha's Death
After Pedro and Rosaura's wedding Nacha , who was their sister, was found dead on the ground.
- "When Tita went looking for her, shoe found Nacha lying dead, her eyes wide open, medicinal leaves upon her temples, a picture of her fiance clutched in her hands." -pg 41 -
Gertrudis Leaves
Gertrudis runs off with the man she loves. She makes love with him on the horse while they're riding off.

Pedro and Rosaura have a Baby
Rosaura has the baby as soon as Pedro leaves. Tita is the only one there to deliever the baby so she has to do it.

Tita and Pedro
While Tita is in the shower she notices that there is someone in the room watching her. When she comes out of the shower Pedro goes up to her and causes her to lose her virginity.

Roberto Dies
Tita find out that Roberto: Rosaura and Pedro's baby is dead. He starved because whatever he ate came back up and didn't agree with him.
-" Whatever he ate, it didn't agree with him and so, he died!"

Tita Lives With John
Tita gets into and arugument with Mama Elena because she blames Mama Elena for Roberto being dead. Tita goes into the coop on top of the house to be with her pigeon. Mama Elena then calls for John to take Tita to a mental hospital. John says he would do it but he actually takes her to his house to live with him.
- "Fine, if she is acting crazy, then I'm going to put her in an asylum. There's no place in this house for maniacs!"- pg 100 -
Mama Elena Dies
Mama Elena dies from overdosing on ipecac. Plus she wasn't eating regular because she thought Tita came back to the ranch to poison her instead of take care of her.
- " Mama Elena died within a month, wraked by horrible pains accompanied by spasms and violent convulsions."- pg 135 -
Bandits Attack Mama Elena
Bandits arrive at the ranch and attack Mama Elena then rape Chencha.

Rosaura Dies
Tita's sister Rosaura died due to digestive issues she had.
-"Rosaura would have enjoed this wedding so much. The poor thing had been dead for a year." pg 232 -
Tita and Pedro Die
Pedro and Tita finally get to be together after twenty years. While they are making love Pedro dies. Tita then goes and starts eating candles and dies too.
- "A mortalized silence spread through the room. It took her but a moment to realize that Pedro was dead."-pg 243 -
Tita and John's Wedding
Tita is marrying John but she is still in love with Pedro. At the wedding Pedro asked Tita for a dance. He thne told her that he still wanted to be with her and that it wasn't too late.
