First adaptation
Directed by Sam Raimi from a script by David Koepp, it is the first installment in the Spider-Man trilogy and stars Tobey Maguire as the main character. The film centers on outcast teenage genius Peter Parker, who develops superhuman spider-like abilities after being bitten by a genetically altered spider. -

It started simultaneously when Sony announced the cancellation of Spider-Man 4. Opting for a reboot over another sequel, the studio announced the release date for July 2012 under the title The Amazing Spider-Man. -

The continuation of the third adaptation will arrive in December of this year Spider-Man: No Way Home, as well as the continuation of the Spiderman animation will arrive in 2022 called Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
