Brown v. Board of Education
This case is broadly known to make education equal to everyone. This did not only help the African Americans but also students with disabilities. This case paved the way for them to receive equal access to education. -

this provided funding to low-income students. this was also able to fund special education centers. -

This requires students with disabilities to spend time with their peers. Gives the students with disabilities a right to be taught in least restrictive enviorment. -
Board of Education v. Rowley
Parents of a deaf little girl argued that their daughter would receive better education if she had an interpreter. This case went all the way up to the supreme court and ruled that the little girl was only entitled to a free education. -
Education for All Handicapped Children Act Reauthorization
This came with an inclusion of early intervention for students with disabilities to receive help before going into school. -
No child left behind Act
This requires students to receive the early intervention reading programs and other programs that may be needed for them to caught up with their peers. This also requires for teachers to students knowledge. -
Individual with Disabilities Education Act
This Act makes sure that students get a free and fitting public education. No child with disability should be denied proper education . An evaluation should be done to students to check if they have any disabilities. -
Every student Succeed Act
This gives states more control over the education. Another major part of this act is that students have to take an annual test starting in 3rd grade.
