Rehabilitation Act of 1973
This Act prohibits dicrimination of people with exceptionalities in federal agency programs, federal employment and employmnt practices of federal contractors. -
Education of all Handicap Children Act
Required all public schools that accepted federal funds to give equal education and one free meal a day to children with exceptionalities. Schools must have completed an educational plan for each child evaluated. -
Individuals with Disabilitis Education Act
A federal law governing the way states provide early intervention, special education and other services for children with exceptionalities. -
IDEA 2004
Changes were made to IEPs, Due Process,and student disapline. -
IDEA 1997
Extended the assurance that all students would have access to the general curriculum. recommended Assistive Technology Devices and IEPs for students.
