The Unspeakable Happened
( this is reveled at the end of the book) This poor girl is violated at a party by a boy she thinks is cute. she calles the cops and every one flees the scene. But ever since that night no one spoke to her. She's to afrade to tell anyone why she called the cops; she didn't even tell the cops, she hasn't told anyone. -
1st Day Of High School
She feels so alone and finds it so hard to feel welcome.
One of her teachers thinks she's a trouble maker, when she's not. Also kids pick on her ( someone throws potato at her in the luch room) -
Art Class
When she enters her art class, and she is asigned to draw trees the rest of the year; improving it. She finds it fun and has somthing to look forward to everyday. -
Friend?
There is this girl that talks to her all the time; and is anoying! She doesn't let her talk. Marianda is tierd of her but its the only person who cares I guess. -
I Guess Not!
The one girl she could probably see as a friend ends up turning out like the rest. This "friend" says I don't want to talk to you any more because i have new friends now, and they think tour weird. Hope you understand. (how mean is that!) -
Im Sorry
The girl who told her she didn't want to talk to her friend, says it's okay to talk to her again! Marianda says no and that she is crazy to think she can boss her arround like that. -
Moving Along
School is as usuall no friends but finds an ecape in a sanctuary she makes for herself in the ganitors closet. Inside the ganitors closet theres a small door and inside there she hangs up her art work. She also brings her personal stuff in there to make it feel more homie. -
Teacher Trouble
she clashes with one of her teachers but shes a queit student. So when forced to make a speach, a boy sticks up for her. He says she doesn't have to because she has the righ not to. In the end they both get in trouble. :( -
You're A Liar!
When she tells her it was her boy friend she goes frantic. She tells her that shes just jealous and is tying to break them up. She ends up not talking to Maranda again. -
Trouble
There is a girl she used to be freinds with before the party thing happened. She aproches her, deep down inside shes dying to tell her what happed to her. But there is one big problem, the guy who violated her is her boyfriend! (they dated after the incodent; her not knowing about it ofcorse) They started talking about what had happened but she just coulding say it, so she wrote it down. Her friend started to cry and apologized for how mean she had been to her. But then she asked who did it? -
ALONE!
She has never felt so alone not telling anyone was bad..,but she at least got it out and vented to someone. -
NO!!!
The boy that had violated her at the party fallowed her into the art room. she was all alone scared and felt like screaming. He was going to do it again, she felt like saying No! she couldn't she was unable to speak. But then she found the courage and said no; she started to yell. Then the art teacher saved her by going into the class room. -
Finally!
She ended up telling her art teacher what had happened to her at the party last summer and why she had been acting stange. She told him about what had happened to her at the party that one night. She had finally spoken, she was finally able to SPEAK!
