Her Time in Paris
Won a scholarship to study art in Paris for a year. Her time there inspired her to create ¨livable sculptures.¨ -
La Destruccíon
After the ending her scholarship to study in France. The point of La Destruccíon was the "destroy all the work I have made in those last three years". She also collaborated Lourdes Castro and Miguel Otero. She went into an empty lot and invited photographers and destroyed all of her existing artwork. -
La Menesunda
La Menesunda was staged in 1965 in Buenos Aires (aka art within happening). Marta paired up with another artist named, Rubén Santantonín. Subject unwitting viewers to extreme conditions. The artist staged a house where visitors walked through shaped entrances and walk through different rooms. Rooms could be covered in confetti and also different performances. This artwork popularized concept art in South America. -
Minuphone
Invited viewers to enter a telephone booth, dial a number, and watch as sounds and colors projected from the glass panels, while a television screen on the floor displayed the caller’s face. -
Parthenon of Books
This is a massive replica of the Greek Parthenon made completely out of previously banned books by the old regime. On Christmas Eve, all the books were given away and the tower toppled. -
