Salyut 2
This was a space station created by the USSR. After three days, the launch of this station resulted in failure. -
Kosmos 557
It was a space station originally called DOS-3, but due to its failure to orbit, it was renamed Kosmos 557. -
Skylab
This space station was launched by NASA. This orbited teh earth from 1973 to 1979. -
Salyut 3
It was the first station (made by the USSR) to be launched successfuly. To hide its true military nature, it was put in the Salyut Program. -
Salyut 4
It was a copy of DOS-3, but it was actually successful unlike the original. -
Salyut 5
Also known as OPS-3. was a soviet union space station, and was launched in 1976 as part of the Salyut Programme. -
Salyut 6
This station was the first type of the second generation type of space station. -
Salyut 7
This is the last station in the Salyut program, which is replaced by Mir. -
Mir
This was the first modular station, and was also the station with the most amount of human prescence of space, until surpassed by ISS. -
