Sputnik
The Russian word "Sputnik" means "companion" ("satellite" in the astronomical sense). The spacecraft obtained data about to the density of the upper layers of the atmosphere and the reproduction of radio signals in the ionosphere. Sputnik provided the first opportunity for meteor detection. Image from NASA -

Sputnik II
A dog named Laika female part-Samoyed terrier was the first living thing from Earth in space. Once in space she was given 10 days to live however she only used two because of the thermal problems in Sputnik II Image from NASA -
SCORE(Signal Communication by Orbiting RElay)
This satellite's purpose was to demonstrate the possibility of, and explore problems with, operation of a satellite communication system. I made the image it says no image avalible -
Pioneer 5
Pioneer 5’s purpose was to investigate interplanetary space between the orbits of Earth and Venus. Image from NASA -
TIROS-1 (Television Infrared Observation Satellite)
Goals: test experimental television techniques, Sun angle and horizon sensor systems. Image from NASA *=I dont know what day in Month -
Discoverer 13
Discoverer 13 was designed to test spacecraft engineering techniques and to attempt deceleration, reentry through the atmosphere, and recovery from the sea of an instrument package. Image from me * -

Vostok 2 was in orbit for a full day in order to study the effects of a prolonged period of weightlessness on the human body. Vostok 2 mission patch * -
Telstar
It successfully relayed through space the first television pictures, telephone calls, fax images and provided the first live transatlantic television feed. Image from NASA * -
Vostok 3 & Vostok 4
3: testing the ability of the human body to function in conditions of weightlessness and test the endurance of the Vostok 3KA spacecraft over longer flights. Both: The two Vostok capsules came within 6.5 km (4.0 mi) of one another and ship-to-ship radio contact was established. Mission patch * -
Vostok 5
Was originally intended to stay in orbit for eight days, but the mission details changed many times due to elevated levels of solar flare activity at the time and he was eventually ordered back after five Mission patch for 5 and 6 * -
Valentina Tereshkova & Vostok 6
Valentina Tereshkova was the first civilian in space. Data was collected on the female body's reaction to spaceflight. Vostok 6 was the last flight of a Vostok 3KA spacecraft. Valentina Tereshkova * -

Apollo 4
Apollo 4 flew the S-IC first stage and S-II second stage for the first time, and demonstrated the first in-flight restart of the S-IVB third stage, and the first test of the Apollo heat shield in flight at expected lunar return velocity and angle.
Lasted only 8 hours and 37 minutes, just long enough to test orbital rocket restart and send the command module to a sufficient altitude, and allow it to fire the service module engine to build up the correct return velocity to ful Image from NASA *
