Apollo 7

Apollo 8
Apollo 8 was known for the first mission to take humans to the moon and back. Frank Borman, James Lovell, and William Andres, were the 3 astronauts to setup the lunar landing. -
Apollo 9
Apollo 9 was known for testing the first Lunar module, but the lunar module named spider did end up burning up. Apollo 9 was also a docking and EVA mission with James A Mcdivitt, David Scott, and Russell Schweickart as the crew. -
Apollo 10
Apollo 10 was the test for every aspect in the lunar landing except the actual landing. On May 18th 1969 Eugene Cernan, John Young and Thomas Stafford launched to take a lunar go around. -
Apollo 11
Apollo 11 was the first Lunar landing taking place on July 16th 1969. Neil Armstrong, Command Module Pilot Michael Collins and Lunar Module Pilot Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin were the first astronauts to make it to the moon and back, winning the space race over the USSR and fulfilling President Kennedy's promise.
