V-2 Ballistic Rocket
In 1942 the German V-2 ballistic rocket was the first rocket to ever reach the vast unknown of space. It was a major breakthrough in rocket technology some modern rockets are based on the V-2 ballistic rocket. -
Sputnik 1
In 1957 Sputnik 1 was launched and became the first ever artificial satellite to ever reach space. It influenced the U.S.A to try and get a man on the moon. It also influenced America to form NASA and get the man on the moon in 1969. It also started the cold war and the U.S.A. to elect John F. Kennedy to stop the Cuban missile crisis. -
Space Food
Why space food is a very great invention because it allowed astronauts to e and eat in space and not die. So if you ask why it is a great invention it keeps the astronauts healthy because it has lots of protein. -
Lunar Rover
In 1969 the lunar rover was an electronic vehicle that drove on the moon it was one of the most known rovers of its time. One of the reasons it is so well known is because that was the same year of the moon landing. Also the same year that the space race ended to some by I think it is going since no one is on mars yet. -
Canadarm
In 1981 the robotic arm that was used on a lot of the modern space shuttles till the Candarm 2 which was the upgrade of Canadarm. It was used to maneuverer objects from one space shuttle to another. -
Hubble Telescope
In 1990 the Hubble telescope was launched and is a great invention. Because then you can see into the deepest parts of space and discover new planets and galaxies. There have been five missions to service and upgrade the Hubble telescope. But the fifth was the final one to help and upgrade the Hubble Telescope. -

In 1996 the really awesome 6-wheeled vehicle that was launched and sent to mars and innovated rover technology. It was named cool robot of the in 1996 from Dec.2nd to 8th.It uses images obtained by the lunar and rover imaging systems -
Canadarm 2
In 2009 the more advanced edition of Canadarm is a 17 metre long arm and was used on the International space station. It was very essential to the international space station it can do twice as much as the Canadarm could do.
