Goddard Launches The First Liquid Fueled Rocket
American Robert H. Goddard, who successfully launches the world’s first liquid-fueled rocket at Auburn, Massachusetts, on March 16, 1926. The rocket traveled for 2.5 seconds at a speed of about 60 mph, reaching an altitude of 41 feet and landing 184 feet away. The rocket was 10 feet tall, constructed out of thin pipes, and was fueled by liquid oxygen and gasoline. -
V-2 Rocket
Nazi Germany made this rocket. It was the world's first guided ballistic missile. They used this as a "vengeance" weapon, meaning they shot this at allied cities who were in rebellion against them. -

First shuttle to land on a celestial body in the outer solar system
Cassini-Huygens was the name of the lander, it was sent to see what Jupiter's moon Titan looked like, and just happened to be the first to land in the outer solar system. -
First probe to land on a comet
Rosetta was the first probe to land on a comet, it is still searching the comet looking at the surface. It was launched in 2004, but only landed on the comet in 2014.
