The Nagorno-Kaarabakh war also know as Artsakh Liberation war and started Feb. 20, 1988. The war was fought over the Nagorno-Karabakh trying to break off from Azerbaijan. The war lasted through the indepemdence of Armenia and finally ended on May 12,1994. -
