    Sojourner Truth was a slavery who was sold at a young age. She met with difficulty because of miscommunication, but with strong will and determination, she was able to surpass and manage on. After knowing that her owner was unable to keep his promise to give her independent, she ran away for freedom. This action show her strong and mind power as a women, especially as an African slavery.
  • Sojourner Truth: A loss inspire to fight for equal right

    In her life, she had two children and one was her son who she fought for and won custody of in the court. Sojourner Truth settled in New York for 14 years, until one day she lost her son who never returned from work. She was devastated and this loss encouraged her to take action for abolition and equality. This was important because it was the starts of her action toward equal right.

    Sojourner Truth was one of those brave women to stand up and fight for women's rights, in addition, she fought for African american’s rights too. Truth, travels and gives out justice speech to others. She even gives speeches, which was still remembered, at the Ohio Women’s Rights Convention. This event were be one that encourage people similar to her, especially women.
