Truth speaks
Truth went on speaking in Ohio. She worked with Marius Robinson to get the information about the antislavery movement out to people. The audiences were big and nice, they wanted to hear her speak. -
Civil War Help
Sojourner Truth also helped out during the Civil War. She recruited black troops for the army. She also had a grandson named James Caldwell who enlisted in the 54th regiment.
