    James Madison oversaw the Bill of Rights and turned to the people for help on making them. After everyone had their vote, the Bill of Rights was created with the first 10 amendments to​ our Constitution. It guarantees greater constitutional protection for individual liberties and lists specific prohibitions on government power.

    The Louisiana Purchase was the land purchased from Nepolian, by Thomas Jefferson. Jefferson really only wanted the city of New Orleans. He was able to double the land of America overnight because Nepolian was in debt and decided to sell all of his lands​ here.
  • Missouri Compromise

    Missouri Compromise
    This was the compromise that declares Missouri as a slave state. This left the slave states and non-slave states to be uneven. They decided to make the compromise of everything north of Missouri, that was bought in the Louisiana Purchase, be a non-slave state.
