    Came out shortly after Six Degrees was taken off the web this allowed people to post pictures, videos, and message others.

    This came out shortly after Friendster this allowed professionals to build a network

  • MySpace

    Most like present days Facebook it was an interactive platform making it easy to share pictures and videos.

  • Skype

    This allowed you to message and FaceTime friends from anywhere.

  • Facebook

    This app was originally only available for people with a "@harvard.edu" email but quickly expanded to all Ivy League schools.

  • Youtube

    This media let you share videos for anyone to view popular for family to share for others to see.

  • Twitter

    Twitter opened and only allowed people to just 140 character posts this app actually took years to grow as big as it is today

  • Facebook adds features

    Facebook makes its way to everyone and anyone over the age of 13 years old can make an account

  • Spotify

    This allows people to listen to all the music without downloading songs.

  • Instagram

    As we all know instagram is used to share pictures and videos to the app for others to see.

  • Pintrest

    This allowed you to share craft ideas or artsy things with others for inspiration.

  • Kik

    Allowed people to message in case you didn't have a number.

  • Snapchat

    As it was released it was a popular app among young people letting them send pictures and chats privately deleting right after opening

  • Vine

    This became a big app for people to share funny videos and became a huge influencer platform.

  • Musical.ly

    This app was founded to have people lip-sync songs and dance on

  • Musical.ly bought out by TikTok

    TikTok became the new name for the beloved Musical.ly as they got bought out still having the same purpose as before.

    TikTok became the most downloaded app in the United States.

  • Instagram Reels

    This was a feature added to instagram a lot like TikTok but you only have to have one app. Lets people upload short videos for everyone to see

  • Clubhouse

    This allowed you to do video chats or audio calls to people all over.
