Cancel Culture is something that has been around since 2014, but has made a major impact in the last year. The media that has been used is Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and Television. It has been included in articles, in speeches, in interviews, in posts, and hashtags. This is still ongoing. -
#BLM Protests
The platforms used were Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Reddit. There were social media movements, posts, pictures, and hashtags used with this. As well as events to join protests. It actually started in 2016 and got revamped again in 2020, lasting around 6 months. -
#StopTheSteal
Platforms used were Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Reddit, and Youtube. This phrase was used to post videos, articles, and events. It also was used for teasers of what is to come. These posts all came from far right supporters. It started in November more heavily and ended the heavy period around February of 2021.
