Proclamation of 1763
The British decided to take over the colony's land. The British doing that made the colonies get very upset over the proclamation and it led to the 12-year crisis that led to the American Revolution.

The Stamp Act
The Stamp Act led to the American Revolution because the British were taxing all of the colonies' basic needs and goods for more than they should have. The British did all of this without asking the colonists. The colonies decided to riot against the Stamp Act. They both chose to violate the principle of "taxation without representation"

The Boston Massacre
The Boston Massacre happened after the Intolerable Acts and then was evacuated occupying army people from Boston. Then a bit later they brought revolution to armed rebellion throughout all of the colonies.

The Green Mountain Boys
A big effect of the Green Mountain Boys is where they were located. Their beauty is the most scenic and popular thing about their story. They also were a militia. Their goal as the militia was to gain all their rights back and defend their property.

Bunker hill
Bunker Hill was started by the American militia and aimed at the British. The British were trying to keep their town together and control valuable seaport. They then decided to create two hills, Breeds Hill and Bunker Hill. They did this so they could gain tactical advantages. The Americans then heard about it and attacked the British again because of that.

The Boston Tea Party
The Boston Tea Party is the main reason why the tea act led to the revolution but the reason is because during the Boston Tea Party, the Americans did not like that they were being taxed for so many basic goods. The colonists showed Great Britain that they were not gonna stand for the rule. All 13 colonies ended up fighting for their independence.

The battle of Trenton and Princeton was from George Washington's army as they defeated a group of hessian mercenaries at Trenton. This happened causing George Washington to think without a smart decision and that there was likely to be no use of the Continental Army.

The Declaration of Independence is what states the principles of our identity as Americans and the government is based on. The colonists were the ones who fought for this independence, so they declared they were an independent nation. Continental Army wintering Valley Forge
A year prior to the battle of Trenton and Princeton, George Washington moved his army to the quarters in Valley Forge. The winter was a dreary place and provided as uncomfortable. From the continuous freezing and very bad weather, they had a lack of clothing.

Battle of Saratoga
The Battle of Saratoga took place in New York. They chose to take the Hudson River part of the American route. The Seige of Charleston was the war between the British and Americans. The war was from April 1st-May 12th 1780. The war was shorter than others but it was lots of damage, and during the American Revolutionary War.
