Snakes and Ladders
Snakes and Ladders was one of the very first games I remember playing as a child. I used to play it with my cousins during family gatherings or at school during free time. The game was simple — roll the dice and move — but it always felt intense, especially when you were close to the top and suddenly slid down a snake. It was one of the first games that introduced me to the concept of luck in games, and how unpredictable outcomes can totally change the experience. -
Spider Solitaire
I discovered Spider Solitaire on my family’s old Windows computer when I was bored and looking through built-in games. It quickly became a go-to game whenever I needed a break or just wanted to pass time alone. The challenge of organizing all the suits in perfect order without getting stuck made it strangely addictive. I liked that it didn’t need fast reflexes — just patience and planning. It also taught me a lot about logical thinking and sequence patterns. -
Ludo King
I started playing Ludo King during the COVID-19 lockdown when I was looking for ways to stay connected with my friends and family. Since it was based on the classic board game, it immediately felt familiar and easy to pick up. What made it stand out was how it turned a nostalgic offline game into something you could play online with others in real-time. It brought a surprising level of tension and excitement — especially when your token was almost home and someone landed on you! -
Subway Surfers
I first played Subway Surfers on my phone around 2015, and it quickly became one of my favourite mobile games. The fast-paced endless runner format kept me hooked, especially with how the game got more intense the longer you lasted. I loved trying to beat my high score and unlock new characters or boards. The vibrant colours and smooth animations made the game feel exciting and fun every time I played. -
Coin Master
I first started playing Coin Master around 2020 when several of my friends were sending me spin links on social media. It was one of the first mobile games that really got me hooked with its simple yet addictive mechanics. I loved the feeling of spinning the wheel and never knowing whether I’d get coins, a raid, or an attack — it made each session feel exciting. The social aspect of the game also played a big role, since I was constantly trading cards and raiding friends’ villages.
