The cellular concept has been made.
A scientist at Bell Laboratories has created the cellular concept for phones. This consists of small cells of color to get smaller to create one color. These are known as pixels they have created colors using red green and blue. Just like on computers this was made the same way. -
THEY CAUSE WHAT!?
In the 1980s people have been concerned that cell phones cause brain cancer. A Florida man has sued the company because his wife got a brain tumor. He suspected it was the cell phone problem. This shows people made a big deal about cellphones causing viruses. -
The first profile
In 1987 someone has created the first profile in a cellphone. They have been around ever since that. People have made accounts on cellphones and it was a success. People really liked the profiles because it made things easy to tell about you and basically post things to friends and family. -

Phones Had Keyboards!
People have made phones like the Nokia with a keyboard. People have Used It to call and or text. They have made sales on the Nokia for people who liked it. They were somewhat successful when it came to phones with keyboards for people to use to make things easier for people to use. -
The first smartphone
In 1992 the Simon Personal Communicator was created by IBM. It came with a stylus type thing that was used on the screen. People have used it as a regular phone and it really looks like a walkie talkie. It was so popular to people. It was pretty easy to use because it was kinda like a tablet. -
They Were Popular!
In the 2000s people were using cellphones all the time! Mostly people under the age of 12 were using them. People really liked cellphones a lot People use them on a daily basis and mostly for texting and calling. This shows people really loved them. -
A first smartphone. From Apple
Apple made the Iphone in 2007 they were pretty popular. Even though it was the first phone that they made. People loved it and they made more. Just because people loved them that much. That showed they were very successful in business when it came to people and phones. -
Wow that is a lot of people!
In 2009 87% of people owned a cellular phone. People really loved them to have that many. Cellphones were very popular almost everyone had one of them. People had to call or whatever on a cellphone and it was older so people really needed them to call and arrange or to call 911. -
Wow a ton of calls in a year!
In 2009 50% of 240 million 911 calls were made each year. Those were made on cell phone most people couldn't afford a smartphone. People really needed help in that year. Most people had to call 911 because no smartphone equals you have to use a cell phone to call 911. -
Finally High speed software
In 2012 Phones finally got speed this really helped people who didn't like the slow. Things would load much faster than regular phones without that. Without that people wouldn't want to buy a phone at all. Thank goodness that was invented now we can do things on a phone way faster.
