Billy was born in Ilium, New York and was an only child of a barber. -
Weary's Death
On the ninth day in the box cars Weary died, he blamed his death on Billy and the guy that held his head while Weary died promised to avenge him. -
First Time
Billy first came unstuck in time during the war, he was behind enemy lines trying to get back to the American side with Weary and two scouts. -
Captured
Billy and Weary got caught by German guards behund enemy lines. -
Wild Bob
While waiting in the railroad yard, Billy met Wild Bob who had lost all of his men in the infantry unit. When they got on the train and in the cars he died of double pnemonia. -
Arrival
On the tenth day they arrived at the prison camp. They were given coats that once belonged to dead people, showered, then had a great dinner with some British prisoners. -
Ward
After the war Billy commited himself to a veteran hospital because he was mentally ill. -
Tralfamadorians
Billy was taken by the Tralfamadorians to their planet. On the way there he was talked to by those who operated the saucer and he tried to read their language. -
Plane Crash
On the way to a convention for an optometry, the plane Billy, his father-in-law and some other optometrist crashed into the side of a mountain. Everyone died except for Billy. -
Billy
Billy says he dies while in Chicago talking to a large crows about the flying saucers.
