When she was born
Simone Arianne Biles was born on March 14, 1997 in Columbus, Ohio. Her parents were drug addicts, for which she was adopted by her maternal grandparents, who acted as parents for her. -
Her career
Simone Biles officially began her career at the Huntsville, Texas "American Classic" meet in 2011. She finished third in the Individual Meet, first on vault and balance beam, fourth on floor, and eighth on uneven bars. -
First meet
Her first meet of 2012, was again at the "American Classic" competition, but this time, she finished first overall in the individual and vault, second on floor, third on balance beam and fourth on uneven bars. Later, she competed in the 2012 "Secret U.S. Classic" tournament, held in Chicago, where she finished first overall in the individual and vault, second on floor, and sixth on balance beam. -

Biles' debut as a senior gymnast was in March 2013, at the "American Cup", an international FIG event, she and her partner Katelyn Ohashi were called up to replace Elsabeth Black and Kyla Ross, who had left the competition for being injured. -
Secret us classic competition
In July of that same year, she participated in the 2013 "Secret U.S. Classic" competition. She performed poorly, falling several times, and did not compete in the vault after spraining her ankle during the floor exercise. -
National competitiom
In August of that same year, she competed for the third time in the United States National Championships (P&G Championships), but this time as a senior gymnast. Her performance that night made her a first-time National Champion in the individual all-around competition and a silver medal winner in all four apparatus (vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor). -
World artistic gymnsatics championships
The 2013 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships were held in Antwerp, Belgium. Individually, Simone Biles placed first in the all-around individual competition, second on vault, sixth on uneven bars, fifth on balance beam, and first on floor. -
American Cup
Biles missed the start of the season due to a shoulder injury, sitting out the 2014 "American Cup." His re-entry to competitions was at the 2014 "Secret. U.S. Classic" tournament in Chicago, where won individual all-around by a wide margin over second place, won vault, balance beam and floor final -
She was selectd
On October 17, she was selected to compete at the 2014 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in Nanning, China. She dominated the standings despite her big mistake on the uneven bars, qualifying first for the individual, vault, balance beam and floor competition, which also meant that with her contribution, the US team qualified first for the team final. -
Olympic trials
In July, she participated in the Olympic Trials (Olympic team selection trials) where she managed to be one of the athletes chosen to represent the United States at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games. -
American cup
She started the season on March 7, competing in the 2015 American Cup, held in Arlington, Texas, managing to win the overall individual competition with 62,299 points and with an advantage of more than four points compared to the second place.27 Biles ended that month competing in the City of Jesolo trophy, a competition where he won the individual overall with a score of 62.100 -
Sexual abuse
In January 2018, he declared that he had been the victim of sexual abuse by the former doctor of the US gymnastics team Larry Nassar, along with another hundred gymnasts. -
World champinship
At the 2019 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships, held in Stuttgart, she qualified for all the finals to be played, being the third time she had achieved this achievement.
For the finals, the USA gymnastics team clinched the gold medal for the fifth consecutive time, giving Biles her twenty-first medal and sixteenth world championship gold medal. -
Nike x Biles
On April 23, 2021, Biles broke her relationship with Nike that had united her since the end of 2015, to join the North American sports brand Athleta, linked to Gap.39
A month later, in her first competition since 2019, she became the first woman in history to perform a double piked Yurchenko in the vault.
