Sirens
The ship sails through the Sirens – but are unaffected because Odysseus heeded Circe’s warning and filled their ears with beeswax so they wouldn’t be called to their death. He, however, is tied to the mast so he can hear the singing but can’t react or get his men to.
Analysis
This shows how Odysseus is protective over his men because he tells them about the sirens and makes sure they're safe . -

Scylla & Charybdis
The Scylla is a monster with 6 heads. From what Circe said to Odysseus, Scylla will eat 6 of his men if they are close enough to her. Charybdis is a whirlpool that will drown the entire boat and all the men if they are close to her.
Analysis
This shows how Odysseus was a good and bad leader at the same time.He was being a good leader when his men wer scared and tried to give them hope again.Odysseus was being a bad leader because he didn't tell his men that six of them were going to die. -

Helios Cattle
When Odysseus goes to the island to pray to the gods and ask for help, his crew go and kill the cattle instead of listening to Odysseus warning.When he returns to the ship, Odysseus gets mad and yells at his companions for disobeying his orders. But it is too late, the cattle are dead.Helios finds out what happened and tells the gods he'll take the sun away he they don't avenge his cows. They agree an Zeus strikes the boat and kills some of his men leaving Odysseus washed up on an island. -

Circe
Circe's Hall was where Oysseus and his men meant the witch Circe. When half of Odysseus crew went into meant Circe they didn't know what was coming for she had turned them into swine (pigs).Then Eurochulas one of Odysseus men came and told them the news and that's when Odysseus went to save them with the help of Helious he got Circes affection and saved his men.
Analysis
This shows Odysseus being brave and loyal.Odysseus went save his men as soon as he heard what happened without hesitation. -

Aeolus Bag of Wind
Odysseus and his men sail from the land of the Cyclopes to the home of Aeolus,God of Wind. Aeolus gives Odysseus a bag of winds, and he sends Odysseus and his crew home. Ten days later they are in sight of Ithaca, but Odysseus’s shipmates, think that Aeolus has given Odysseus gold and silver, tear the bag open. The winds escape and bring Odysseus and his men back to Aeolia.This time, Aeolus refuses to help them, certain that the gods hate Odysseus and wish to do him harm. -

Cyclopes
Polyphemus is the Cyclopes that Odysseus and his men run into on their journey.The Cyclopes is very rude to Odysseus and the gods,he also eats Odysseus men a couple of days until Odysseus thinks of a way to trick the Cyclopes. He gets the Cyclopes drunk and tells him "NohOne" had put a spear in his so that when e other Cyclopes come they think it's a trick.Then Odysseus ties him and his men under sheep so they'll escape.
Analysis
This shows how clever Odysseus is when saving his men. -

Lotus - Eaters
The Lotus Eaters were a group of women who'd trick passengers mostly men into eating a lotus flower which would make them want to stay there and not want to go back home. When Odysseus and his crew encounter them in Book Nine they arrive on the land where some of his men ate the fruit and have to dragged back to the ship so they can return home.
Analysis
This event shows how Odysseus his loyal to his men and how he wants them to be safe. Odysseus could have left his men but he didn't. -

In Greek mythology, the Trojan War was waged against the city of Troy by the Achaeans after Paris of Troy took Helen from her husband Menelaus, king of Sparta.When Odysseus and his men were losing and many were dying so Odysseus came up with the plan to send them a gift horse.
