    I was born at Canossa Hospital on a cold January night. January 26th 1999. I was born at exactly 0:00 midnight, one minute earlier and my birthday would be on the 25th. I was an unpleasant baby, I caused a lot of trouble for my parents. “eg. Destroyed my dad’s computer keyboard”

    The year 2000 marked the new millennium. The new millennium was celebrated worldwide. Some even believed that it was the start of a new era.

    My family and I moved into an apartment in Repulse Bay. As a child, I really enjoyed the open space, beautiful views and playing at the beach. I consider myself very fortunate to live in such a nice neighborhood.

    Terrorist Attack On World Trade Center
    Al Qaeda suicide bomber hijacked a plane and crashed into The World Trade Center towers in New York City. On the same day, the CIA headquarters "The Pentagon" in Arlington, Virginia was also bombed. This was a huge tradgedy in the US and I remember seeing the horrifying scenes on television and the newspaper. This event also marked the beginning of the United States war against terrorism.

    My first younger brother was born. I wanted to name him Christopher and my parents agreed. Although I was not always the best brother or role model, we now share a lot in common and have similar interests.

    A massive underwater earthquake triggered a tsunami which spread across the Indian Ocean. The tsunami killed approximately 230,000 people. It also affected Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Maldives, Somalia, Kenya and various Islands in the Indian Ocean.

    Switched from a local school to ISF. I have joined halfway through first grade. When I first joined, I was completely new to the environment and felt more relaxed after being in a local school during kindergarden and most of first grade. Over the last 7 years at the school, I have seen it grow and develop into one of Hong Kong’s most unique and diverse schools, I have also seen friends and teachers come and go. ISF is a place of memories that I will cherish forever.

    Youngest Brother Marc was born on August 28th 2007. My dad named him Marc Gaw, because with a cantonese accent it sounds like the name of a famous movie character "Big Brother Mak". Even though he looks very similar to when I was young, but his personality is completely opposite. Marc did was not as troublesome as I was and he was never shy as he enjoyed performing in front of other siblings.

    This was a photo taken during my most recent family ski trip. Skiing is my favorite sport, it reflects my love of risk taking and adventure. I am thankful that my mother is in skiwear business, because if not for my mother, I would have never had the opportunity to ski. Skiing gives me joy and I treasure every second I have on skis.
