In 0930 there was a family called Fujiwara they had a big impact on the religion of Japan. The power of the Fujiwara family did not rest in military but on politics strategy. Because that had done well will negotiating with imperial governments they convinced the people of Japan to intrust Buddhism. Soon enough they had conquered there goal to make people believe in Buddhism.

The Battle of dannoura was a major sea battle of Genpei War occurring at dannoura. Minamoto no Yoshitsune defeated the Heike clan fleet. The young emperor Antoku on of those who dies amongst all people who perished. Antoku was the great sword that was one of the three imperial Regalia.

On August 21 1192 Minamoto Yorimotowas picked as a shogun or military leader. Which was the first shogun military government he was called the Kama Kira shogunate. He worked close with Japanese society and civil servants which would administer in programs such as taxes and trade.

Hojo shogunate was one of the two contending imperial lines to share the throne of kamakura. In 1318 an emperor called Go-Daigo Ascended from the throne when it was his turn to step down he instead made an army to overthrow the shogunate. The shogunate won and Go-Daigo was placed in another throne and that was the end of kamakura.

The Civil war was fought within the imperial capital of Kyoto and was called the age of warring states. The onin war was fought between two samurai families. The fighting began when the Hosokawa family attacked the mansion of isshiki.

Oda Nobunaga was a powerful Diamgo of Japan in the late 16th century who attempted to unify Japan. Nobunaga was widely know as one of the most brutal history figures in history eliminating anyone in his way. He was both a skilled Leader and a businessman.

New Architechture was discovered in shogunate Japan. Knowledge had been gained and they learnt to create castles and prehistoric buildings. like the new castle, Azuchi, was built by Oda Nobunaga.

Mount Fuji erupted but with no lava flow but instead realised 800 million cubic metres of volcano ash. It spread over vast areas around the volcano even reaching Edo almost 100 km away. Cinders and ash fell like rain.

After facing great opposition and a contentious civil war that threatened to tear Japan apart Tokugawa Nariaki Yoshinobu the 15th and last Tokuwaga Shogun resigned on this day in 1867 bringing an end to the Tokugawa shogunate's.
