  • I was ill with viral meningitis

    At two weeks old. A huge scare for my parents and family. I was hospitalized for a week as a result.

  • My 1st Birthday Party in California

    While traveling with family for a Baptist convention. My party was at a McDonalds and I was so excited that I fell asleep in the cake.

  • I kissed a boy for the 1st time

    At the time, it was the highlight of my day. But now that I look back on it, it wasn't as great as I thought it was. The guy is the father of my first child. Really wish I had passed on that first kiss!!

  • My paren'ts divorce

    I was very hurt, but knew my parent's were happier apart. My siblings were devastated though. Very tough time for our family.

  • I went to my first dance

    So much innocent fun. I was definitely lame at that time!

  • My 8th grade graduation

    So happy to move on to High School.

  • My High School Prom

    Had a great time, but it was nothing like I expected!

  • My High school graduation

    Graduated Suma Cum Laude and 3 months pregnant.

  • Birth of My 1st child, Keith Jordan

    As a first time mother, I was excited and afraid all at the same time. And then my baby came out scrawny, wrinkly, and pale. I was so scared that he was ugly!

  • Birth of My 2nd child, Kiara Simone

    My first daughter. She was the cutest and plumpest newborn I'd ever seen.

  • My 1st job in the medical field as a Medical Assistant

    Worked for a temporary agency in a medical records department. Hated the job at first, but it got better with a little time. I eventually left after 5 months to work for Henry Ford Hospital.

  • My fathers remarriage

    Love my step-mom. Best thing that ever happened to my father (besides me, of course)!

  • My Wedding

    While we stayed very much under budget, our weding was so beautiful and perfect.

  • My mother's remarriage

    Took a while, but my step-dad grew on me, He's a wonderful guy.

  • Birth of My 3rd child, Kelsey Denise

    She was born 4 months early as I suffered from Severe Pre-eclampsia. So easy to take a healthy baby for granted.

  • Death of Kelsey Denise

    At 5 months old due to severe prematurity. RIP Angel!

  • Graduated from Brown Mackie College - Diploma in Practical Nursing

    Such a pround event for me. Huge stepping stone in my career as a nurse

  • Passed Practical Nursing Boards

    Was so excited, just in time for Thanksgiving!

  • Birth of my 4th child, Lailah Michele

    She was born about 7 weeks early, again due to my suffering with Severe Pre-eclampsia

  • Death of Lailah Michele

    At 3 months old, due to positional asphyxiation. She was placed on her stomach to sleep. The worst birthday I've ever had.

  • Keith & Kiara 1st Homecoming Dance

    They attended 2 different homecomings and were both stunning.

  • Expected Graduation from Schoolcraft College - Associate of Science in Nursing
