Shakespeare was admired by many people, due to his plays.In the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, admiration for Shakespeare was fervent. This is a important event because since Shakespeare was admired his plays were saved. If Shakespeare's works weren't saved then his ingenuity would have been lost (Bentley 705).
