Veterans Hospital
Billy repeatedly visits this place throughout the chapter. He also, gives great detail about Edgar Derby was a former teacher before the war. Edgar is now in very poor health. -
Listening to the Bible
Rosewater reads the Bible to his "followers". The readers understood that every word. Billy's finance is eating candy bars and Rose water throws the book under the bed. -
Zoo on Tralfamadore
Billy is being shown at a zoo like an animal. The Tralfamadorians are a much more complex species then humans and have the ability to see every event that has happened, will happened, or is happening. Also, they don't have books that take a long time. All the events happen right after the other. -
Wedding Night
Billy was in the Veterans Hospital for 6 months and then graduated from the Illium school of Optometry. He moved to Cape Ann, Massachuesettes with his wife Valencia. Robert Pilgrim was born.Valencia cries because she doesn't feel beautiful enough for Billy.
