John Wilson was driving his wife to Rostern for buisiness, and later notifies Polly that this 'buisiness' had to deal with them sorting out this whole Jessie situation. Close to Waldheim, Jack gets out of his car and blows Polly's head open. He swiftly burried Polly's body under a culvert near by. To cover up the evidence, Jack sets his car on fire. -

Day after Polly Hutchinson's murder
Isaac Neufelt a farmer right from Waldheim saw John Wilson walking towards his house. John said, "the damned car burned me, I need help". When Isaac and John arrived at the car, Johns story changes on the whereabouts the fire had started. Earlier on John had proclaimed that the fire had erupted up in the front of the car and now his story has changed to the back of the car. Isaac knew there was something not right happening.
