John Wilson worked for a man by the name of William Hutcherson. John working for William Hutcherson as a draper gets drawn to Mary Hutcherson another name Polly, a high cheer, bright and brave young women. John wilson being drawn to Polly askes for her hand in marriage. -
John steals
John Wilsons brother Alex Wlison takes over they're dads company and makes it go bankrupt. After Alex Wilson takes over the business he stole five hundred pounds. John not being able to bear seeing the once respected family business break down in debt, he panics and takes money from the greenhouse office. -
John leaves to Canada
John having to leave because he stole money from Polly's brother Jim. He would have to leave Polly and George. John leaves for Canada in July 1912. -
John comes to Canada
When John comes to Canada he gets a job as a bridge builder, by Saskatoon. He works as a bridge builder for 4 year until the bridge is finished. After the bridge finished John becomes a tomato farmer until his tomato farm gets smashed by a huge hail storm then he gives up on his tomato farming.
