Seven Phases of the Slave Trade

Initial Capture
Africans were caught a and set to violence and made to work. When they tried to get away they were hit or beat. Then they were sent away from where they were. -
Holding Prisons [Open air , dungeons, etc.]
Accumilation of the slaves were used by hyolding them. They did this so there was no way to get away. This way, they can be sold. -
Loading
Small groups [2-8 people a day] were loaded in ships. They have been loaded up at least one inch away from each other. Then they had to do their own waste on their selfs which made ships usually stink and some people to die, -
Atlantic Passage
Survival was the main key on here. They even had some people sie that were on the ships because od diseases that went around from the smell. When this did happen , even if they didnt die yet, they would throw them off the ship -
Initial Landing and Enslavement
Breaking the process or exchanging country marks including military tactics. The Europeans started to then sell the slaves to random people. Then breaking their spirits and change their name. -
Relocations to other West Atlantic sites
Orientation to labor or redistribution to other colonies. Which meant that when they were finished they went around more to trade more things. Other than the slaves , fpr things like goods (silver, crops ect.)
