Moulton graduated from Harvard University in Cambridge, MA with a Bachelor of Science in physics. Hinting towards his future enrollment in the military, Moulton spoke of the need to serve in his English Oration commencement address. -
Graduate School
The exact date is unknown, but in 2008 Moulton returned to Cambridge, MA to continue his education. Moulton earned his Master's Degree in business and public administration from the Harvard Business School and the Harvard Kennedy School in a dual degree program. -
Private Sector Work
In the summer of 2011, Moulton began working for the Texas Central Railway as a managing director. His work was focused around a high-speed rail connecting Houston and Dallas. His work here was for one year, next he began his political career. -

Marine Corp.
Shortly after graduationg from Harvard University, Moulton joined the Marine Corp. Graduating in 2002 from the Officer Canidate School in Quantico, VA, Mouulton was sent to Baghdad in the early stages of the war with Iraq. He served four tours in Iraq, ending in 2008.
