New formulas now contain legal substances such as L-citrulline, Beta Alanine, which obviously do not work as good as DMAA and the other but they perform the job safely. Pre-workouts have evolved massively over the time becoming safer and safer by the year and is still a work in progress to become 100% safe. (Joseph)
