Human Creation/ Animal Creation
It was estimated about 5-7 million years ago was when humans and animals were created according to several sources. This is relevant to my project due to this idea starting the whole observation of life itself. Therefore this was a very influential idea in the process of humans and animals evolving. -

Animal Evolution First Observed
Animals were first observed evolving around the time of 100 BCE. This was observed by researching the DNA, of this scientists were able to in fact conclude that animals have evolved since the start of time. It is even mentioned that they in fact are still evolving today along with humans. This is an essential idea in understanding the whole of animal and human evolution. -
When Did Darwin Collect His Research?
Between the years of 1831-1836 Darwin set out on a voyage to South America and the Pacific Islands. On this voyage he studied every species of animal he could find. Upon this, he was able to look over everything he had seen thus come up with the idea of natural selection. This is crucial when understanding how animals have changed over an extended period of time. -
The Idea Of Natural Selection
The idea of Natural Selection was first proposed around the year of 1858. This was also proposed by Charles Darwin, with the help of Alfred Russel Wallace. Natural Selection is the idea that animals have adapted over the years which in return creates better genes for upcoming young species. This is an aid for evolution due to it being seen changing the way animals are built over the years. -
The Idea Of Animal Evolution
The idea of evolution was first proposed in 1858. This concept was introduced by a man named Charles Darwin. He proposed that animals and humans change over time through the process of natural selection. Meaning as we face new challenges in survival genes are changed to help better improve lifestyle. This was necessary to evolution due to having the understanding of how life changed over time. -

The work of Darwin was final in the year of 1859. This year was the year he had everything worked together and felt able to publish it all. In which case he did, although immediately it shocked the British beliefs. They had been taught different beliefs as to how animals and humans were created and how they changed. Therefore Darwin and his theories were frowned upon. This has relevance in terms of his concept not being believed for many many years. -
The Death Of Charles Darwin
April 19, 1882. This was the time in which Darwin died. This was now the end of a great legacy and many many ideas to leave new scientists thinking upon. This is relevant in terms of the end of a very controversial theory. -
The Acceptance Of Evolution
By 1950 the evolution theory was globally accepted by some. Some were still not able to believe it, although most scientists by this time accepted it and continued research upon it. This is relevant in terms of how important this concept was to the world, especially religious communities. -
The Legacy Darwin Left
1998 was one of the nearest times Darwin was looked at. By this I mean that Darwin's theories were revisited to publish even more about the idea of animal evolution. This is relevant in terms of Darwin still living on although he has been gone for many many years. -
Was Evolution ever proven?
For any wondering minds, evolution in fact is still an "in the air" topic. Although it cannot 100% be proven it can be a pretty solid theory for animal changes over time. Scientists state that for it to be in fact false, there would have to be really really challenging studies in order to prove so. -
Who deserves the respect for the theory Darwin or Wallace?
Many agree that this theory was Darwin's although it is the same for Wallace. To get an understanding of this broad topic, both man played a very large influence in doing so. Darwin was the most known although Wallace knew just as much as Darwin did, therefore this topic will almost always remain a debate. -
When was this theory most recently looked at?
In 2009, there is an article released about the works of Darwin and all of his discoveries. This appeared to be one of the most recent times his studies were looked at and wrote about. This topic is relevant in terms of, this experiment many years ago is still being looked at today to make more observations. -
Is evolution accepted by today's modern society?
Studies show that when asked as to whether they believe in evolution or not 65% say they do while the other 31% say they do not while the small 4% claim there is no explanation for it. For the most part it is in fact accepted, this is relevant when looking at Darwin and then comparing his ideas with the way people think modernly. -
Social Evolution
Social evolution, this is a more recent study expanded off all of the past concepts. This is the study of how cultures and and societies change. This is the study mainly of social requirements, social progress, and origin of social species. This is a new study as mentioned which has fed off of past experiences and ideas of evolution. -
Genetic Adaptation
Genetic adaptation is the idea that as animals live, die, and reproduce. New genes are created whilst old ones are thrown out. Usually the ones thrown out are to allow newer ones to help the animal or organism better survive. This is a newer topic although it has been known of for a few years never hardly published.
