Introduction
Selena's first acting role was in the children's show "Barney And Friends". This was when she had made her introduction to the business of acting. I feel as if this was the starting point in Selena's career, she wasn't greatly known at this point but gained a lot of popularity from her acting part on this show. -
Growth
Not long after Selena starred on Disney's "Suite Life of Zach and Cody", "Hannah Montana", and was cast as the lead in "Wizards of Waverly Place". I believe this was Selena's growth stage as she started to become more greatly known, and popular for her parts on Disney, and evolving in the music industry as well. -
Maturity
During the year of 2009, Selena released her first pop album "Kiss and Tell". She later released many more songs and continues to today! I feel as if this was her maturity stage as she started moving on from acting and was working with other talents of hers. From this point on Selena wasn't just known as that Disney actor, but as an artist in the music industry as well. -
Decline
I think a big event in Selena's life was when she was diagnosed with Lupus. Selena released this information in 2017 and it was said that she needed to undergo a kidney transplant. This had been a very rough and emotional point in Selena's life where she wasn't involved as much with making music of acting. -
Decision Point
After the surgery and healing, Selena continued to make music and somewhat continued acting aswell. Selena was also working on raising money towards research for lupus. Her more recent albums are what has really shaped her career and are where she became more recognized, after her drama with ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber and the Weeknd Selena numbed the pain from her breakups through music.
