This march was taken because, there were rumors going around stating that Marie Antoinette was hiding grain in the palace. The women went to the palace to force the King and Queen to move back to France. -
Champ De Mars Massacre
This massacre was caused when the French people were throwing stones at the soldiers, and then the soldiers started firing in the air to make them stop, but then started firing in the crowd. So, this caused a massacre. -
Constitution of 1791
This was a constitution that was created after the fall of the monarchy. This created a new form of government called an, Constitutional Monarchy. -
The Louis XVI Execution
This is the day that Louis XVI was executed. He was executed for going behind the backs of the French people. -
The Committee of Public Safety
This Committee created the new De Facto Government, which gained control of France. -
The End of the Reign of Terror
The End of the Reign of Terror, was when Maximilian Robespierre was executed.
