The Typewriter
The typewriter was invented by Christopher Sholes. This machine was either electric or it was manual. Instead of handwriting a paper you could type it with this machine. It used ink and it had a keyboard that looks like one off of a computer that we use today. However the paper moved instaed of the curser. Also, if you were to misspell a word you would have to figure out a way to fix it or you had to redo it. -
The Vacuum
The Vacuum cleaner was made by Hubert Booth. He thought that it was a good idea to make or improve the way that they cleaned their floors and rugs. -
The First Telephone
The first telephone was made by Alexander Graham Bell. -
Gas Motor Engine
This was invented by Nicolaus Otto. It is said to be one of the most important landmarks in engine design. He named the invention "Otto Cycle Engine". When he was finished with the inventions he built it into a motorcyle. -
The Ponograph
This was the first ponograph. It was invented by Thomas Edison. This invention was made to improve the efficincy. He tested it to see if he could record a message from the telephone. He tested many things and ways to make this happen until he hit the jackpot and recorded a message. -
The Zoopraxiscope
This was invented by Eadweard Muybridge. This was the first motion picture machine. He used state-of-the-art techniques to make the motion picture machine. -
The Radiometer
The Radiometer was invented by Sir Willam Crookes. You could also call it a light-mill. It has a set of vanes. When they were exposed to light then the vanes rotated. -
The First Kodak Camera
This was the first camera that was made in 1888. This was inverted by George Eastman. -
The Automobile
This is the first carriage without horses. The inventer of this car was Henry Ford. -
The air conditioning
The air conditioning was made by Willis Carrier. It was a great invention because we wtill use it today. -
The lie detector
This was made by James Makenzie. We still use this today.
