  • The Battles of Lexington and Concord

    The first battles between the American Colonies and the British. The British got word of gun supplies being stored in Lexington and Concord of Massachusetts, this caused the British to march to these towns to search for the supplies, however were met by the Colonies for a battle. Lexington was a British victory while Concord was a Colonist victory.
  • The Siege of Fort Ticonderoga

    In the morning in New York, less than 100 militia under the command of Ethan Allen and Benedict Arnold, crossed Lake Champlain. This small army captured the British fort by surprising the sleeping British.
