    After passing off e-meters as being scientific, the FDA raided the Church of Scientology headquarters. They made Scientology label all e-meters as "purely religious artifact."

    The Sea Organization was founded by Hubbard to act as a "Vatican City" style operation, endlessly promoting Scientology. It has been cited for hundreds of human rights abuses.

    The FBI raided Scientology, and found documents of their "Fair Game" policy, which vowed to financially and socially destroy any outspoken opponents of Scientology. This includes journalists and people who have left. They also had plans to overthrow the U.S. government.
