    Johannes Gutenberg
    Johannes Gutenberg was a German craftsman from the 1400s.
    He is important because he invented the printing press. It was the first printing method involving movable type. It used an oil based ink and a metal alloy that melted and cooled quickly to make a durable and reusable type.
    His most known printed work was titled "Gutenberg Bible"

    Nicolaus Copernicus

    Nicolaus Copernicus
    Nicolaus Copernicus was a Polish astronomer in the 1500s. Most of his observations involve eclipses, alignments, and conjunctions of planets and stars.
    He is important because he was to first to discover the heliocentric system. This system is about how the planets orbit around the Sun and that Earth turns once daily on its own axis.
    He revealed this in his book "De Revolutionibus Orbium Coelestium"

    William Shakespeare was very well known for his writing, and still is to this day.
    He wrote histories, comedies, and tragedies. One of his best known works is "Romeo and Juliet".
    His different and new style of writing changed and expanded the world of writing and he is remembered as the greatest writer of the English language.

    Galileo Galilei is important because he discovered whats known as the Galilean Moons.
    The Galilean Moons are the four most massive moons of Jupiter.
    His discovery was so incredible that in the 1990s NASA sent a mission to Jupiter and decided to name it after him.

    William Harvey was an English physician in the 1600s.
    He is important because he was the first person to discover the full blood circulation in the human body.
    He also proved this by performing many experiments and having many calid arguments.
    He published his discovery in his book "Anatomical Exercise on the Motion of the Heart and Blood in Animals" in 1628
