Henri Becquerel's Atomic Theory
Antoine Henri Becquerel (15 December 1852 – 25 August 1908) is a French physic and known for the discovery of radioactivity uranium. Becquerel worked with potassium uranyl sulfate, which he exposed to sunlight and placed on photographic plates wrapped in black paper. When it was formed, the plates revealed an image of uranium crystals. -
J.J Thompson and his theory.
Joseph John Thompson was born on the 18th of December, 1856 in Manchester U.K. He is a British physicist. He discovered that there were electrons surrounding the nucleus of the atom. He proposed a model for the structure of the atom. He knew that electrons had a negative charge and thought that matter must have a positive charge. His model was called “raisin bun” because his model looked like raisins stuck on the surface of a pudding/bun. -

John Douglas Cockcroft and Ernest Thomas Sinton Walton Atom split
John Douglas Cockroft was born in 1897 in Britain. He is a physicist and is known for the design of the first particle atom splitting which changed an element to another. John Cockroft and Thomas Sinton Walton won the 1951 Nobel prize in physics, whom worked together to design the atom spitting. This method will lead to the destruction of ww2 by dropping 'two' split in half atomic bombs nicknamed Fat man and Little Boy onto Japn. -

Atomic bomb WW2 1945
On the 6th of August 1945 the first atomic bombs were dropped following the end and destruction of Japn in WW2. The U.S. used John Douglas Cockcroft/ Ernest Thomas Sinton Walton's idea of the atom splitting and conducted two seprate nuclear bombs.
