7.1- Transition to High School
When I transitioned to high school, it felt almost same as if I was in middle school because same people goes with me. But, when I transferred to deaf school, I felt so different, I was overwhelmed with completely new people. I was explored with a lot of new information compared to previous high school because the peers do not share same language as me.I learned how to be independent early because I was a dorm student so I cannot depend on my parents. -
7.2- Transition to College
When I transitioned to college from high school, I was scared because I knew nobody there and my parents left me on the first day. It was difficult at first but it got easier as the days passed but I experienced more depression than I ever had. I believe it was because I had no support and I did not know how to reach for help. Which was causing me more stress and I was almost planned to drop out but I knew it'll be worth it in the end so I stayed. And I got better and did well in the school.
