Napoleon was exiled to the island of Elba after a French invasion of Russia and had abdicated his throne. Louis XVIII had then became King of France. -
Book Event: Georgiana's Introduction
Miss Georgiana Fitzwilliam is not like most girls, into ruffles and gowns. And she has always been "cursed" with freckled skin and orange hair. Not ever fitting in, she has always been into chemistry and experiments, especially for invisible ink. She has wanted to make the ink to prevent ambushes and cracking of codes within war. Her beloved brother had gotten killed for that reason. With her unappreciative father and a mother always trying to "fix" her, she is considered one unusual girl. -
Book Event: Georgina's Heated Situation
Miss Georgina Fitzwilliam is now being sent to the Stranje House that turn girls into marriageable young ladies. She was doing one of her experiments when a fire had started and burned down his father's stable. Though she has no intention on staying and has already planned to escape. -
Book Event: Failed Experiment
Georgina is left with the right of creating an invisible ink to save hundreds, possibly thousands of people. Though she must work with the self-centered Lord Sebastian Wyatt who needs the ink to send undetectable notes for he is a diplomatic attaché. Sebastian has black hair, place skin, and piercing blue eyes. Georgina seemed to have jumped into her experiment too quickly and almost poisoned Sebastian to death because of the fumes. Luckily she pulled him out in time and saved his life. -
Book Event: Invisible Ink
It is late at night when Georgie figures out the formula to the ink while thinking in bed. Though it is late past her bedtime, she sneaks out and unexpectedly runs into Sebastian. They work on the formula until they finally have it. (Or so they thought) Sebastian must go with the formula to make the delivery to London. They have gained a connection, a somewhat romantic one, and now they must part. Sebastian must leave without Georgie. -
Book Event: Faded Ink
Georgina is abruptly woken by Tess when she exclaims that Sebastian should not have left and lives are at stake because she had a premonition that thousands including Sebastian will be killed if he left before the 23rd. When seeing he wasn't in the laboratory, Georgie found two notes from him. One with much respect and another faded, apologizing for his behavior. This was supposed to be invisible, which means the ink didn't work. If she doesn't give him a working ink by tonight many will die. -
Book Event: The Rescue
Georgina had been able to give Sebastian a working ink but a follower of Napoleon, Lady Daneska had intervened. She tied up Sebastian and Georgie, she intends to have the ink for Napoleon's advantage. But Sebastian got rid of it and Georgie will not tell unless she stops torturing Sebastian. Lady Daneska ends up taking Sebastian and will not give him up without the ink. Miss Stranje and the girls all work up a plan to save him without having to give up the ink, so they break in and run off. -
Book Event: Post Rescue
Sebastian has to do work another mission in Vienna, causing Georgiana and Sebastian to split once again after his recovery. King Louis XVIII has been assassinated and his successor had fled in fear for his life. Now Napoleon is back in power. The End -
Real Event: The Truth
King Louis XVIII was not actually assassinated. He in all actuality fled where Napoleon had risen to power for around 100 days. Shortly after he was exiled once again to the island of St. Helena in the South Atlantic.
