    The patent for dynamite in Sweden was obtained by Alfred Nobel on October 19, 1867. This contributed to the Modern Revolution because of the power dynamite has. Instead of using man power to take away mountain sides, or break apart large objects, people were given the same power if not more with a stick of dynamite.

    Modern Telephone
    In 1876, a swedish man by the name of Lars Magnus Ericsson constructed a new telephone where instead of there being a mouth piece and a phone, they were fused to look more like the modern telephone. The modern telephone affected the Modern Revolution by being a model for the modern house phone and the cell phone. This also propelled international communication which strengthened our world trade networks and the whole process of globalization.
