Marco Santiago Alvarado was born July 31, 2009. He was 8lbs 12oz. I was in labor for 15 hours and when he was born, I was surprised to see that he had very little hair! -

Santiago at about one year.
Santiago was a very chubby baby. He was breastfed through a little past one year. Here he is sitting on our bed. His brother is in the background. Santiago is holding a bear that dad sent him from Afghanistan. Dad was gone for about the first 8 months of Santiago's life. -
Two years old
Here's Santiago at around 2 years old. He loves putting on big brother's shoes to make him upset. Santiago's hair was so straight yet curly that we decided not to cut it for a while. -
The present
Santiago is now 3 years old. He is very active and attends preschool. He loves to watch Spongebob and loves to make the family laugh.
