    Agnes Heller was born on 12 May 1929 in Budapest to a Jewish family. She would see her father sent away to a concentration camp, where he would later die at. Agnes and her mother would be able to avoid deportation to the camp but growing up during the Holocaust and in Hungary lead her to be around communistic and Marxism ideology. She would aim her work around morality, Which centered around her questions of "How could this possibly happen? How can I understand this?"
  • Education and introduction into Philosophy

    Agnes would later enroll into The University of Budapest to study Physics and Chemistry. While there she would switch to pursuing Philosophical reasoning after listening to György Lukács a Hungarian Marxist.

    Hellers potions in her early and late life in political philosophy allowed her to explore ethics and morality and the application of oneself to their political system as well as the emancipation or freedom from the change we allow ourselves to go through.

    The Hungarian Revolution (23 October – 4 November 1956) pushed Heller to a realization of political philosophy. That nations and cultures need to have political philosophies applied to them individually.
